The Traveller: Terms & Conditions

Existing bookings/Administration and accounts: 07733130234

HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING: Bookings and enquiries can be made online, by telephone, fax, email or in person.

YOUR CONTRACT: Your contract will be with G and P Dennison trading as The Traveller (hereafter known as THE TRAVELLER). When booking a holiday you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions.

A contract will exist as soon as we issue a confirmation invoice. This contract is made under the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by English Law and we both agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts at all times.

YOUR FINANCIAL PROTECTION:  In the unlikely event of our insolvency the air holidays and flights shown are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority.  Our ATOL number is 4232.  ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.  In order to provide the fullest range of products and services to our customers, on occasions we act as agents for other ATOL holders and if this is the case you will be notified of the appropriate ATOL number at the time of booking and with your written confirmation.

When you buy an ATOL protected flight or flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate.  This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate ( or a suitable alternative).  In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative(at no extra cost to you).  You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL Holder.  However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).

If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed ( or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme.  You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent(or your credit card issuer where applicable).  You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.   The Traveller are also members of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) and members of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the worlds largest regulator of air transport.  In order to provide you with protection in the event of a schedule airline failure we include in all our fares free Schedule Airline Failure Insurance

DEPOSITS AND BALANCE PAYMENTS: A non-refundable deposit  per person is required when you make your booking. The balance of your holiday is due 12 weeks prior to departure. If your booking is within 12 weeks full payment is required at the time of booking. Certain "sale fares" require immediate payment. You will be advised at the time of booking when your balance is due.

AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS BY YOU: If after your confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your holiday arrangements we will do our utmost to make these changes. The charge for making these changes will be £25 per person. If full payment has been made and tickets issued any amendments are treated as cancellations and cancellation charges will apply. Unless otherwise stated on your booking confirmation cancellation charges after ticket issue are 100%. Please check the fare rules prior to confirming your booking. Refunds for cancellations cannot be processed until the original tickets have been returned.

REFUNDS: If for any reason we are unable to supply any goods or services you have purchased from us we will reimburse you within 30 days, subject to there being no dispute by either party. Refunds for unused tickets may have to be returned to the airlines for refund and these may take up to 12 weeks to be processed.

PASSPORTS VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: We may provide some information about passport, visa and health requirements on your confirmation, but it your responsibility to ensure that you and your party have the correct documentation to travel. If you fail to do so you will be solely responsible for any cost, or loss incurred. We would also strongly recommend you take out adequate travel insurance when travelling abroad and again accept no liability for cost, loss or damage if you fail to do so. You can obtain current travel and health information from our links to the Dept of Health and The Foreign Office.
